Breyer Traditional Morgan Quest Native Sun
Morgan world champion reining stallion.
Many horse breeders want to make their dream horse, so they look into bloodlines and conformation to find the right mix. One of these dreams came true when MorganQuest Native Sun, a beautiful dark chestnut Morgan stallion, was born.
Morgan Quest Native Sun was raised by Shirley and Duane Burris and their daughter Tané Schwartzman. He has Red Correll and old working western bloodlines in him, so it’s not surprising that he took to reining like he was born to do it. In 2004, he went to his first Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show and won the world title in Snaffle Bit/Hackmore Reining. In 2005 and 2006, he won the Open Reining World Championship. In 2007 and 2014, he came in second.
He is already making a name for himself as a sire, even though he is no longer showing. MorganQuest Red Warrior, his first child to compete in a show, won the Grand National’s Snaffle Bit/Hackmore Reining World Champion title in 2014, just like his father did a decade earlier. MorganQuest Native Sun will continue to shine in the reining arena because of his ability to pass on his athletic build, working bloodlines, and winning ways.
