Don’t try to stop Nistar Blazing Kansas LOM from doing something. Kansas is owned by Cynthia Bellis-Jones of Fox Run Farm. He is 11.2 hands tall and competes in halter, trail, pleasure driving, and carriage driving, often against Sporthorses that are much bigger than him. He has been named a National Champion by the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America (WPCSA), the Pinto Horse Association, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). His mother, Wayne and Nina Sue Stark’s beautiful and talented GTF Blazing Ethel, was a champion driving pony herself, so it’s clear that she taught him how to win.

In 2018 and 2019, Kansas was ranked as the #1 Section A Stallion in the country by the WPCSA. His path to the top was paved with wins. In 2018, he was given the Legion of Merit by the WPCSA. The next year, he was named Welsh of the Year by the group. Kansas was also the USEF’s Horse of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He also won the USDF’s Welsh All-Breed Award and the National Dressage Pony Cup’s Grand Champion title three times.
